Behind the Scenes
Behind the Scenes — How This Stuff Actually Gets Made
The Bean Grind started with mugs. Loud thoughts. Recovery brain. UNF★UCKWITHABLE-ISH™ statements you could hold in your hand while getting your shit together.
We’ve expanded since then — apparel, accessories, and home goods — but the way we do things is still the same.
Small team. Real humans. Clear standards. No bullshit.
The Idea + Design Part
Everything starts with a design created by us — or something you upload that we prep properly.
Nothing gets sent out raw or half-assed. Different products require different production setups.
- Embroidery isn’t DTG.
- DTG isn’t sublimation.
- Hand-finished work follows its own process.
Files are checked, adjusted, and sent correctly the first time.
How the Product Is Made
We use different production methods based on the product:
- Sublimation for mugs, drinkware, and select accessories
- DTG printing for apparel
- Embroidery for stitched designs
- Hand-finished or specialty methods when required
We don’t choose methods because they’re trendy. We choose them because they last.
Production Standards & Partners
I’m a recovering drug addict. Which means trust, loyalty, and work ethic are not buzzwords to me — they’re survival skills.
We work with vetted U.S.-based production partners who understand the standards. If something is off, it’s flagged immediately — not after shipping.
Quality control matters. If it’s not right, it doesn’t go out.
Shipping, Packaging & Multiple Deliveries
All items are printed and shipped within the United States.
Because we use multiple specialized production partners, orders that include different product types may arrive in separate packages.
This is normal and helps ensure each item is produced using the right equipment and materials — not rushed or compromised.
If something arrives damaged or incorrect, reach out. We don’t dodge messages. We fix it.
